PCX Policy for Federal and State Agencies
The Pharma Compliance Exchange (PCX) is an Internet-based information warehouse containing Federal and State laws, regulations, and guidance documents related to the Government Programs and statutory pricing requirements.
The PCX was uniquely created and is maintained by Compliance Implementation Services’ (CIS) legal staff and is updated daily. The publically available documents contained on the PCX are gathered from various Government and legal websites and organized according to program, agency, and document type. Subscribers to the PCX have full access to all these documents in a single, easily accessible location.
It is CIS’ policy to offer a PCX subscription to Government agencies and/or employees free of charge. Alternatively, if the Government agency and/or employee is prohibited from accepting free gifts, the subscription fee will be a nominal price per user on an annual basis. Additionally, CIS will provide one-time Webinar based training to the agency/employee at the beginning of their subscription. The waiving/minimizing of the subscription fee allows for unlimited access to the PCX service and the training, but does not include consulting or legal services.
The content on the PCX includes:
- Medicaid Drug Rebate Program
- Veterans Affairs and the Federal Supply Schedule
- Public Health Services Program
- TRICARE
- Medicare Part B & D
- State Programs
- State Reporting Requirements
- State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP)
- State Pharmaceutical Assistance Program (SPAP)
- Supplemental Rebate Programs
